Jan currently serves as the CEO and co-founder of Candidate.ly, where he and his team are dedicated to creating the digital storefront for staffing and recruiting firms. Candidate.ly simplifies the process of sharing candidate resumes between staffing firms and their clients.

As a repeat founder with over 20 years of experience in the staffing industry, Brian has
established himself as an expert in this field. Brian began his career at TEKsystems before
starting Cypress HCM, a technology and creative recruiting firm based in San Francisco. During
the development of Cypress HCM Brian became passionate about creating software to optimize
staffing industry performance. This led to the founding of COMPAS Technology, a software
platform focused on front and middle office operations for staffing companies. In 2018, COMPAS
was acquired by Avionte, became Avionte’s flagship product, now known as BOLD.

Recently, Brian has been consulting with staffing executives and thought leaders to identify gaps
in the staffing automation ecosystem. This process has led to the discovery of a new passion for
reference checking automation, specifically tailored to the staffing industry, that can provide
real, tangible value. As the current CEO and Co-Founder of RefAssured, Brian is committed to
creating innovative solutions to the staffing industry.
